48 Years Old

We went to the Blue Mountains for pre birthday celebrations. Its one of the few times I can get everyone together with a common sense of purpose, the dichotomy of autonomy versus cohesiveness is evident.

A lovely little forest cottage tucked away in Wentworth Falls, an erstwhile home of what seemed to be an audiophile.

The compulsion to make such events memorable is now past me, and Im happy to have smiles and togetherness and simply the nearness of having the 4 of us together.

Something of a dream come true

To watch them live and revisiting The Joshua Tree album as well as some from Achtung Baby and where they end with One. What an amazing evening and great pre birthday celebration.

Kayaking in Manly Cove

Spent the morning at Manly cove, for what was expected to be a rainy day, turned out to be just beautiful for getting out on the water.
Tried out the new carbon fiber paddles too, which were great.

Manly cove is a great little spot for a swim, a day at the beach or to paddle.
So many little vessels anchored there, and seagulls nesting on them and squaking or swooping you as you go past.

Saturday at Clifton Gardens Reserve

A lovely Saturday morning soaking in the sun at Clifton gardens in Mosman.
Cheeky Bush Turkeys constantly raiding the picnic hamper, families celebrating birthdays, youngsters jumping off the pier, some people doing some serious fishing, short intimate walks along the cliffside and through the bush. What a glorious day !
