THE 17 JUNE SHOOT

On 17th june 2007 I took this picture from one side of the lake. What was amazing was that the same location but from 2 other sides, 2 other people took pictures, all 3 of us doing so in less than 24 hrs ! Dreamland

Earlier this morning, driving on our way to Shamirpet, just me and the kids.

Just as we are passing the crowds coming out from Sunday service near secbad club, I'm thinking about the previous night and my readings on the Sephiroth and Malkuth and thinking to myself how fickle minded I could be.

At that exact moment Alisha says " Can we be two things papa ? I want to be a doctor and a teacher."

Meanwhile at the exact moment DREAMLAND by Bruce Hornsby is playing on the car stereo, with these exact lines :

Wake up tomorrow maybe you'll find

Darkness gone from your mind

Want you to be what you want to be

Don't want you ever hurt like me

Smiling through the saddest times ...

And I further reflect about Archangel Sandalphon, and how he is associated with prayer, and heavenly song.

Flashbacks

I watched the movie WAR OF THE WORLDS last night, and it brought back a flood of memories.

I remember watching the earlier version the first time around 1978-79 or thereabouts, while about 7 yrs old in Pune. It creeped me out then and it creeped me out now.

I think it was the serpentine things that come looking around for human survivors.

Flashback to age 7-8 again, and I had a high fever one night in the Infirmary, and a nightmare which involved me being a stadium surrounded by a grill with plants etc, which are creepers vines that have reached out and eaten my acomplices who were with me but a few minutes ago.

That dream I remember to this day, and it still freaks me out !!

Strangely, around the same time [ present day ] some creepy ad film maker has used the similar concept for CHANTILLI wines where thre grape vines reach out and suck up a rooster alive.

The Times...

Yesterday as we were coming back from school, Armaan and Alisha were in the back seat; Bob Dylan playing on the Stereo, the track was The Times They are A-changin'.


......."Come mothers and fathersThroughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand...."

And that EXACT moment Armaan pipes up saying “Papa change this. I don’t like this song.”

And Alisha says “ Yeah me too”.

And the song continued…. “Your sons and your daughters Are beyond your command”….

The Cosmic Twin

Today 2 things :

As I was explaining to Juhi about the plum pudding incident, I got call from Aman in Delhi who is claimed to be very similar to me [ my cosmic twin I'm told].

Later in the evening when we got home from lifestyle, and Deepa explained to Alisha about the pink flower Alisha gets her and the concept of gratitude, I wasn't around during this explanation.

2 minutes later I explained the very same thing in the very same words.

Downloading music, I found Nick Kershaw don Quixote ( ..."your mind can play tricks, makes you what you want to be )…

Remembered a faded acid trip around 1987.

The Nik Kershaw poster and the track by Simply Red - Holding Back The Years…….. And while I currently am reading NLP.

Just as I was deleting name "Kiran" ( of RMF) from my cell ph book, at the exact same moment Kiran ( of RWS ) calls to ask if I’m really leaving and where im going. [ And I met a GMR Director called Kiran 2 days ago. ]

The Ring

Watched “The Ring” last night. [ Monday 24 April 2006 ]

The child in the movie keeps drawing stuff

In the morning alisha too is sitting and drawing, when I open her new bag
Which she has been using at stepping stones, inside is a drawing which has a green coloured circle with an orange ring a round it.

So rather than get spooked I asked her what it was and she said it as a ring which she saw at the play school.

Reliance Retail

The amazingly crazy incident, where I was idly thinking about the upcoming Reliance Retail project in the morning, and receving a phone call from the same person at 4 oclock the same evening asking whether I would be interested and whether he should do something. [ Friday 10 March 2006 ]
