Boys day out.
Armaan had been wanting to spend time with just the two of us, and so e ditched the ladies and headed out early morning to Kolad.
My GPS [ Here Drive ] as usual took me off course through some terrible inland roads where I ended up with our first bad scratch on the LHS of the car. Miserable.
But anyway, we cheered up after a nice morning Canoeing up and down the river, and we then wanted to venture out into some exploring of new territory. I hoped to make it to Korlai fort about 40 km westward and then onto the beach.
As it turned out, we did the hinterland stretch through Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary [ beautiful drive in a deserted Ghat section ], missed the fort as the drive took longer than anticipated, and then made our way to Kashid beach. Has lunch of some roast lamb and lettuce sandwiches at the beach.
Altogether a great day with Armaan :-)
